The research laboratory led by Martine Hébert, Ph.D., full professor at the Department of Sexology at UQAM, is comprised of five research team members, one postdoctoral fellow, nine doctoral students and twelve masters’ students. The laboratory’s research program focuses on child sexual abuse and adolescent dating violence and aims to identify the protective factors on individual, familial, social and community levels that contribute in reducing the impacts of violence. The various projects also aim to promote the implementation of best intervention practices to support the optimal development of children and youth.
