She conducted an honors thesis at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute about the qualitative analysis of a knowledge exchange program aimed at enhancing the quality of care offered to individuals suffering from an eating disorder in the province of Quebec. She is also interested in the issues of child sexual abuse, child maltreatment, intimate partner violence and intergenerational trauma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">She is now beginning her master&#8217;s degree in sexology at the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al under the direction of Martine H\u00e9bert, Ph.D. and Rachel Langevin, Ph.D. As part of her master&#8217;s research, she will be examining the risk factors for cyber-victimization in the context of dating relationships among adolescent victims of sexual abuse. Aim\u00e9e has recently joined the research laboratory to benefit Dr. H\u00e9bert&#8217;s expertise in the study of child sexual abuse and dating violence. She intends to pursue a PhD with the goal of developing preventive programs for victims of sexual violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Since the beginning of her academic career, Aim\u00e9e has been involved in multiple research labs and has contributed to the writing of several scientific papers.
