{"id":4121,"date":"2021-11-16T13:29:00","date_gmt":"2021-11-16T18:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/martinehebert.uqam.ca\/?p=4121"},"modified":"2021-11-15T20:36:46","modified_gmt":"2021-11-16T01:36:46","slug":"student-portrait-elizabeth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/martinehebert.uqam.ca\/en\/nouvelles-en\/student-portrait-elizabeth\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Portrait- \u00c9lizabeth"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9lizabeth completed a bachelor&#8217;s degree in psychology at the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, during which she conducted an honours thesis focusing on the moderating role of intimacy in the relationship between infertility-related stress and marital satisfaction in couples followed in a fertility clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is now undertaking a Ph.D in psychology under the direction of Martine H\u00e9bert, Ph.D. As part of her doctoral thesis, she is interested in the relationship between violence in adolescents&#8217; past romantic relationships and the relational and individual consequences in their current romantic relationships. When asked why she chose to work under Dr. H\u00e9bert&#8217;s direction, \u00c9lizabeth says that she is honoured to be part of a research team that is working to develop knowledge and interventions that will help many teenage victims of violence in their romantic relationships.
