CIFAS 2024 (2/3)
During the first week of June, several members of the laboratory shone with their participation in the Congrès international francophone sur l’agression sexuelle (CIFAS) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Among them, Camille Guimond, a doctoral student in psychology, presented a study which examined different patterns of social support perceived by children who had been sexually abused. Camille studied the associations between these groups and the children’s externalized and internalized behavioral problems.
Estelle Piché, a master’s graduate in sexology, research-intervention profile, also presented a scientific poster (see image below). Her study looked at the associations between neuroticism, self-destructive behaviours and eating disorders in young victims of childhood sexual abuse.
As for Ariane Jean-Thorne, a doctoral student in psychology, she gave an oral presentation on the school performance trajectories of child victims of sexual abuse.
Congratulations to you three and to the whole team!
