CIFAS 2024 (3/3)
During the first week of June, several members shone with their participation in the Congrès international francophone sur l’agression sexuelle (CIFAS) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Geneviève Brodeur, a doctoral student in psychology, presented a symposium alongside Stéphanie Couture and Mylène Fernet. She presented the prevalence of women’s experiences of sexual violence in the context of intimate relationships, and their consequences for the relational and sexual well-being of survivors. She also explored survivors’ perceptions of the sexual violence mandate of shelters.
Finally, Martine Hébert, director of the laboratory, led a workshop on promoting positive relationships and preventing dating violence among teens and young adults, with her colleague Mylène Fernet. They presented Étincelles and Constellation programs.
Congratulations to all!
