Discover our research professional – Manon
Manon Robichaud holds an undergraduate degree in psychology, a certificate in human sexuality and a master’s degree in sexology. Her passion for research, mainly in terms of database management, statistical analysis, and the creation and management of online questionnaires (via Qualtrics), has allowed her to support researchers and students in their research projects for the past 20 years.
As a research professional, Manon has been involved in Martine Hébert’s laboratory since 2001, while participating in various projects such as ÉVISSA (Équipe Violence Sexuelle et Santé), PAJ (Parcours Amoureux des Jeunes) and the Canada Research Chair in Interpersonal Traumas and Resilience. In addition, Manon coordinates the laboratory’s research projects related to child and adolescent victims of sexual assault. Since 2005, she has also been coordinating the data banks and analyses of the Marie-Vincent Interuniversity Chair on Child Sexual Abuse, of which Martine Hébert is co-chair.
Manon hopes that her involvement in research projects with victims of sexual abuse will contribute to a better understanding of the problem, and to the development and provision of services more specific to the needs of these children and adolescents in order to ensure their well-being.
The dynamic environment offered by Martine Hébert’s laboratory, both in terms of its members and the constant challenges she encounters, contributes to the development of her professional expertise with much appreciation.
