Discover our students – Doctorate in Psychology

Amélie completed her Bachelor’s degree in psychology, honors profile, at the Université de Montréal. She is currently doing her doctorate in psychology at the Université du Québec à Montréal, under the supervision of Martine Hébert, Ph.D., director of the laboratory.

As part of her doctoral research, Amélie is interested in peer victimization experiences of child victims of sexual abuse.

Amélie has been a member of the lab since 2016. She became involved as a research assistant, particularly for data collection. She then became the research coordinator for the recruitment of the comparison group of children who were not victims of sexual abuse.

Since the beginning of her doctoral program, Amélie has written and collaborated on nearly 7 scientific articles, three of them as a first author. She has also participated in numerous national and international conferences as a presenter, including some in New Hampshire and Jamaica.

Amélie has strong research and clinical interests. She is currently considering a post-doctoral degree!
