Hina F. Raza, master’s student

Hina holds a doctorate in medicine from the Université de Montréal (UdeM), she completed her residency in pediatrics at CHU Ste-Justine and is currently working in a pediatric emergency center. She is now beginning a master’s degree in public health at the UdeM under the supervision of Sylvana Côté, Ph.D. and Martine Hébert, Ph.D. She is particularly interested in child neglect and sexual abuse. Dr. Hébert’s expertise in child sexual abuse makes her a co-director of choice to carry out her master’s project. Her dissertation will focus on the factors that may influence the relationship between sexual abuse and somatic symptoms in school-aged children.
