Students’ presentations : IVAT 2020

Three graduate students from the laboratory presented their research at the 25th International Virtual Summit on Violence, Abuse & Trauma Across the Lifespan (IVAT). Today, we present the work of Justine Caouette, Andréanne Fortin and Arianne Jean-Thorn, doctoral students in psychology at the University of Quebec in Montreal.

JUSTINE examined the emotion recognition and emotion regulation competencies of child victims of sexual abuse.

ANDRÉANNE investigated the effect of behaviors and perceptions during conflict on the occurrence of physical violence perpetration in teen dating relationships.

ARIANNE examined the moderating role of social support in the association between parent-child attachment and resilience of sexually abused children.
