New article available

An article about teen dating violence written by Valérie Théorêt, Élizabeth Hébert, members of the laboratory, and Martine Hébert, director of the laboratory, was published recently in the Journal of Psychiatric Research.

The study examines the role of alexithymia in the mechanisms that could explain the higher risk of teen dating violence among adolescents with a history of childhood maltreatment. Symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder related to the experience of teen dating violence are also discussed in this article.
