SQRP 2024

From May 24 to 26, laboratory member Valéry Dubé presented a scientific poster at the Société Québécoise pour la Recherche en Psychologie (SQRP) convention in Drummondville.

The aim of her study was to validate the Quebec version of the Alexithymia Questionnaire for Children (Rieffe et al., 2006) with child victims of sexual abuse. This is the first self-reported questionnaire on alexithymia to be validated with this population, and could potentially be used with child victims of other traumas.

She also led a pre-conference workshop on science communication given by ÉducoFamille.
