Student Presentations – 17th Annual Conference of the CRIPCAS

On November 5 and 12, five students from the laboratory presented their research projects at the 17th Annual Conference of the CRIPCAS.

  • examined the role of relationship status and gender in the relationship between psychological violence in romantic relationships and adolescent self-esteem
  • addressed the role of sexual self-concept in the relationship between mindfulness and sexual satisfaction in survivors of childhood sexual abuse
  • examined emotion recognition in school-aged children who were sexually abused and exposed to partner violence
  • examined the mediating role of the child’s internal attributions of blame in the relationship between maternal guilt and child behavioural problems
  • focused on how to promote resilience in sexually diverse youth who have experienced interpersonal violence
