Violence Prevention Research Conference 2024 (2/2)
As part of the Violence Prevention Research Conference held in New Hampshire from July 14 to 16, several members of the laboratory presented their findings, notably by taking part in various symposiums.
Of particular note was Ophélie Dassylva’s participation in a symposium organized by Natacha Godbout and Audrey Brassard, in which she discussed the protective role of adaptive flexibility among Quebec mothers.
At a symposium on prevention initiatives from preschool to university, Pénélope Allard-Cobetto presented the Lantern program, aimed at preventing sexual violence among 0-5 year-olds. Martine Hébert presented the SPARX program for high school students, followed by presentations by Mylène Fernet and Isabelle Daigneault on prevention initiatives for CEGEP and university respectively.
Martine Hébert also took part in a symposium about science of healing in trauma victims. She spoke specifically about preventing interpersonal violence and promoting resilience in young people.
Congratulations to the whole team!
